Fitted gown with a pleated back, meant to pin closed in the front over period underpinnings.
Hand sewn using period techniques, made with a medium-heavy weight striped linen. The fabric was second hand and had a few flaws from storage, see photos for two small darns near the hem, and two on the back of the skirt, almost hidden in the pleats.
Never worn, just put on for pictures. Model has about a 35-36" bust in stays.
